【摘要】:Thispracticecoversthehandling,testing,andprocedureforusingaradiochromicopticalwaveguidedosimetrysystemtomeasureabsorbeddoseinmaterialsirradiatedbyphotonsintermsofabsorbeddoseinwater.Thispracticeappliestoradiochromicopticalwaveguidedosimetersthatcanbeusedwithinpartorallofthespecifiedrangesasfollows:Theabsorbeddoserangeisfrom1to10000Gyforphotons.Theabsorbeddoserateisfrom0.001to1000Gy/s.Theradiationenergyrangeforphotonsisfrom0.1to10MeV.Theirradiationtemperaturerangeisfrom-78to+60?C.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
