【摘要】:Ionizingradiationproducesphysicalorchemicalchangesinmanymaterialsthatcanbemeasuredandrelatedtoabsorbeddose.Materialswithradiation-inducedchangesthathavebeenthoroughlystudiedcanbeusedasdosimetersinradiationprocessing.Note38212;Thescientificbasisforcommonlyuseddosimetrysystemsanddetaileddescriptionsoftheradiation-inducedinteractionsaregiveninICRUReport80.Beforeamaterialcanbeconsideredforuseasadosimeter,certaincharacteristicsrelatedtomanufactureandmeasurementofitsresponsetoionizingradiationneedtobeconsidered,including:theabilitytomanufacturebatchesofthematerialwithevidencedemonstratingareproducibleradiation-inducedchange,nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;theavailabilityofinstrumentationformeasuringthischange,andtheabilitytotakeintoaccounteffectsofinfluencequantitiesonthedosimeterresponseandonthemeasuredabsorbed-dosevalues.Dosimeter/dosimetrysystemcharacterizationisconductedtodeterminetheperformancecharacteristicsforadosimeter/dosimetrysystemrelatedtoitscapabilityformeasuringabsorbeddose.Theinformationobtainedfromdosimeter/dosimetrysystemcharacterizationincludesthereproducibilityofthemeasuredabsorbed-dosevalue,theusefulabsorbed-doserange,effectsofinfluencequantities,andtheconditionsunderwhichthedosimeterscanbecalibratedandusedeffectively.Note48212;Whendosimetrysystemsarecalibratedundertheconditionsofuse,effectsofinfluencequantitiesmaybeminimizedoreliminated,becausetheeffectscanbeaccountedfororincorporatedintothecalibrationmethod(seeISO/ASTMGuide51261).nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;Theinfluencequantitiesofimportancemightdifferfordifferentradiationprocessingapplicationsandfacilities.Forreferencestostandardsdescribingdifferentapplicationsandfacilities,seePracticeE2628.ClassificationofadosimeterasatypeIdosimeteroratypeIIdosimeter(seePracticeE2628)isbasedonperformancecharacteristicsrelatedtotheeffectsofinfluencequantitiesobtainedfromdosimeter/dosimetrysystemcharacterization.nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;Thedosimetermanufacturerorsupplierisresponsibleforprovidingaproductthatmeetstheperformancecharacteristicsdefinedinproductspecifications,certificatesofconformance,orsimilartypesofdocuments.Dosimeterspecificationsshouldbedevelopedbasedondosimeter/dosimetrysystemcharacterization.Theuserhastheresponsibilityforensuringthatthedosimetryrequirementsforthespecificapplicationsaremetandthatdosimeter/dosimetrysystemcharacterizationinformationhasbeenconsideredin:determiningthesuitabilityofthedosimeterordosimetrysystemforthespecificapplication(seePracticeE2628),nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;selectingthecalibrationmethod(seeISO/ASTMGuide51261),establishingdosimetrysystemoperationalprocedures(seerespectivedosimetrysystempracticelistedinPracticeE2628),andnbsp;nbsp;nbsp;estimatingtheuncertaintycomponentsinthemeasureddosevalues(seeISO/ASTMGuide51707).Dosimeter/dosimetrysystemcharacterizationinformationprovidedbymanufacturersorsuppliers,oravailableintheliterature,shouldbereviewedbytheusertodeterminetheteststhatshouldbeperformedpriortotheuseofthedosimeterordosimetrysystem.Informationonperformancecharacteristicsshouldbeverifiedbeforeusing.1.1Thisguideprovidesguidanceondeterminingtheperformancecharacteristicsofdosimetersanddosimetrysystemsusedinradiationprocessing.1.2Thisguidedescribestheinfl......
