【摘要】:Facilitiesutilizingbulkliquidhazardouswastefuelsareconcernedaboutmaterialhandlingcharacteristicsandtheoverallqualityofthefuel.Ahighpercentageofinsoluble,suspendedsolidmaterialcancreatepumping,filtering,orgrindingdifficultiesintheoff-loadingofbulkshipmentsofOLHWandcancontributetoexcessivewearonprocessingequipment.Highsolidscanalsodecreasethequalityandconsistencyofcommingledfuelbydecreasingtheeffectivenessofagitationinstoragetanks.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationoftheapproximateamountofinsoluble,suspendedsolidmaterialinorganicliquidhazardouswaste(OLHW).1.2Thistestmethodisintendedtobeusedinapproximatingtheamountofinsoluble,suspendedsolidsindeterminingthematerialhandlingcharacteristicsandfuelqualityofOLHW.Itisnotintendedtoreplacemoresophisticatedproceduresforthedeterminationoftotalsolids.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
